Hypocrisy

You shout and point your young finger at us;
Accuse us of damaging the planet.
You travel the globe to lecture leaders,
But you fail to see your hypocrisy.

You preach your religion and say we’re wrong;
Convince the gullible to abuse us.
You live a life of excess and deceit,
But you fail to see your hypocrisy.

You abuse us for loving who we chose;
Tie us to fences; throw us from towers.
You bed women and abandon your child,
But you fail to see your hypocrisy.

You create endless laws to oppress us;
Condemn us to a life of misery.
You don’t pay taxes or obey the rules,
But you fail to see your hypocrisy.
